"Berendeevo Tsarstvo" is a simple route in the Mamedov Gorge near Lazarevskoye, which will please both children and adults.
Park "Berendeevo Tsarstvo" is an ecological route, which is part of the Mamedov Gorge. The park is located right on the road and is more popular with family tourists, because it is oriented towards children: at the entrance, fabulous figures and the throne of King Berendey were carved from wood, a cafe and a pond with trout were opened, paths and bridges were arranged.
Route in the Berendey kingdom, simple but beautiful. You will walk along the river and 7 waterfalls named after the characters of Ostrovsky's fairy tale "The Snow Maiden": the Lel River, the waterfalls "Kupava", "Tears of the Snow Maiden", "Beard Berendey". Then you can go back or go further, to the dolmen and ritual menhirs, fonts and a "sanctuary" made of stones - this is another 2.5 km through the Colchis forest with mossy trunks.
entrance costs 200 rubles. It is better to come to the park in spring, autumn or after rains, when the waterfalls are full of water. Wear sneakers on your feet.
Get there the easiest way is by car from Lazarevskoe. From the road, at a very sharp turn, turn right to the village of Mamedova Shchel. Here you will see the signboard "Berendey's kingdom" on the right. Approximate parking coordinates: 43.948885, 39.310421.
If you believe "Yandex.Maps", then by buses No. 71, 80, 159, 161, 162 you can get from the railway "Lazarevskoye" to the stop "Mamedova Shchel". You need to walk quite a bit from the stop to the park.
