But no, here we miscalculated: in Kemer, food prices are almost twice as high as in Istanbul or Antalya. The village is small and lives only on tourism, so the Turkish cat cried out for the local establishments here. Despite the unexpectedly high prices for food in Kemer, we didn’t stay hungry and found places for the locals, where they hardly even speak English. Prices are low there, our average check is 55-65 ₺ for two (600-700 rubles). We share addresses with you:

So we unexpectedly discovered the world of Turkish "shepherd's" breakfasts in Çobanın Yeri restaurantwhen we went to Olympos. Breakfast cost 20 ₺, we took one for two. They bought mainly fruits and berries there, although, according to tourists, the market has the lowest prices for food. We never got there. Sweet cherry in Turkish is called kiraz... I love cherries very much, and in Turkey it was just the ripening season, so instead of the sea I swam in cherries. In street shops, large red cherries cost from 15 ₺, sweet yellow cherries - 10-15 ₺ per kg. It is more expensive than in the supermarket, but the berries are sweeter. We also bought figs on the street for about 15 ₺ per kg and an unknown small yellow melon for 10 ₺.
Migros - the busiest supermarket in Kemer, you can even get stuck in traffic there! It was chosen by Russian tourists and is bought there with food and edible souvenirs. We also could not resist and bought home:
- Çaykur black tea (500 g) - 19.75 ₺.
- Fresh pistachios (kg) - 90 ₺.
- Fresh cashews (kg) - 125 ₺.
- Pistachio delight (kg) - 43 ₺. Available by weight and in packs of 10-15 ₺ per pack.
- Turkish delight with hazelnuts (kg) - 46.5 ₺. Also available in bulk and in packages.
- Baklava - from 10-20 ₺ per pack. You will not find such prices in pastry shops!

According to reviews, prices for holidays in Kemer are quite reasonable. Tourists come to the resort to spend money, so there are heaps of entertainment and excursions. At every step, they offer to go to Phaselis, Olympos, to Mount Chimera, swim on a boat or ride a jeep.
Advice. If you have a driver's license, rent a car and visit nearby attractions - it's cheaper, more interesting and without time limits. We didn't take a single excursion - we rented a bike and saw the surroundings on our own!

However, there is such a well-developed bus service that you can do without rent and travel by dolmushah - air-conditioned minibuses.
