We collected reviews about the tour operator Pegas Turistik from people who flew through it on vacation in the past season.
To be honest, I myself mostly plan my vacation on my own. This is due to the fact that the format of our rest often does not fit into the scheme of a standard tour. Therefore, I collected reviews about the tour operator from friends and acquaintances (+ Internet), among which, among other things, there were regular customers of Pegasus :)
In total, at least 200 opinions were received, including pain and stories full of positive impressions. The main findings are in this article.
What services search for all tour operators at once?

So, where can you fly with Pegas Turistik: the tour operator, first of all, is focused on the "beach" destinations loved by Russians:
- Turkey - everything is clear here. One of the oldest (25 years old this year!) Tour operators in Russia cannot but work with the most visited resorts. Shop tours to Istanbul, all inclusive to Antalya - everything started with them. Pegasus has its own host office in Turkey. The company is one of the three leaders in sales of travel packages.
- Thailand - along with Turkey, is so popular with Pegasus that the tour operator has created a network of its own hotels in these countries (more on that below).
- Goa is the third neglected destination after the classics of Russian tourism (Turkey and Egypt).
- Vietnam is an actively developing destination, there are tours to 4 resorts of the country.
In addition, the company carries out direct charter flights to countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Tunisia, Cuba and some other destinations through its affiliated air carriers Nordwind and Pegas Fly.
In December 2018, Pegasus started tours to Egypt with a transfer in Antalya. Some even managed to fly to rest in Sharm and Hurghada. But in June 2019, the shop closed itself. Now there are no vouchers for 2021.
Tours from Pegas Turistik
The company has been on the market since 1994. During her activity, she has never declared herself bankrupt, despite the rumors that have been circulating on the Internet.
Initially, Pegasus worked with Turkey, then Egypt was connected. Since 2004 - India, later Bali, Thailand, China, Dominican Republic, Spain. Now the list is even wider. At the same time, Pegasus expanded the geography of offices for sending tourists from the country: Ufa, Samara, Kazan were among the first after Moscow. Currently, tours can be purchased from 51 cities in Russia - a decent number of options with direct flights.
Tours are sold both directly through the tour operator and through travel agencies (including online). If a visa is required for travel, Pegasus can take over the function of obtaining it. But this issue needs to be clarified in each specific case.
The pricing policy is quite democratic. The most budgetary option is hot tours. In addition to the complex package "tickets + hotel", you can only buy air tickets. Pegasus has two subsidiary companies that carry out air transportation within the framework of package offers and not only: Nordwind and Pegas fly.
Early booking also helps to save your budget. But here everything is ambiguous. Sometimes tours booked six months in advance suddenly drop in price by 10,000-20,000 rubles (per person). And rebooking them at a new price is a whole quest that few people can do! This is often the case when a tourist is planning a vacation in the off-season. It is better in this situation not to rush into the purchase.

- Pegasus prices are lower than those of competitors. And yes - for many, this is a decisive choice factor. Why pay more for the exact same set?
- Direct flights - our homeland is immense, it is rather strange to fly from Vladivostok to Moscow, then go to Hainan. Pegasus has direct flights from many cities in the Russian Federation.

- Rare destinations and routes - the company is constantly looking for and opening new resorts. Pegasus as a tour operator searches for a tour to Tanzania, Uzbekistan, Jamaica and Sri Lanka. Since June there are tours from Moscow and Kazan to Azerbaijan!
- Fast refund in cases where the booking was canceled (up to 10 days, often faster), transparent system of deduction of penalties for cancellation of the tour (€ 10 per person if canceled more than a month).
- Possibility of monetary compensation for lost days in emergency situations.

- Not many tour operators can boast of a network of their own hotels abroad. In my memory, these are Tui and Pegas Turistik: the reviews about their hotels are impressive! The PGS Hotels chain also includes Dessole Hotels and Swandor Hotels & Resorts.

Reviews about Pegas Fly (about Nordwind to a lesser extent, but also exist) are full of doubts that the planes were not assembled in the last century. Old cars, inability to recline a chair, 2 toilets per salon - travel with us!
* but this is a problem for all tour operators working with charters. Read our situation with Anex Tour. - The hotel guides are the very ones who literally force Pegasus to buy excursions and other additional services by means of threats and blackmail (if you don't buy from us, you will be robbed, you will get hurt, but they will not treat you with insurance! This is not true, in fact.
- The excursions themselves are 2-3 times more expensive than the "street" ones and are poorly organized. Complaints are received about the reduction of the promised program, and about uninteresting guides, and the general feeling that they want to "get rid of" tourists.
- Another point that customers are unhappy with is a lottery with a departure time. So you took the tickets for the evening, but now the flight was postponed to the morning. Then at 12:00 in the afternoon, then moved to one in the morning. Moreover, in order to change the departure hours to successful ones, you need to pay extra. And when there are changes in the reverse order, no one pays extra for tourists. And it's also good if the place of residence coincides with the place of departure.And if the program includes a transfer point Moscow or St. Petersburg? How early do you need to arrive in order not to miss your flight in the summer? (As a rule, in a day).
I want to note that there are not so many absolutely terrible responses that would relate exclusively to "horses", as the company was christened in Runet. Rather, they relate to any tour operator to a greater or lesser extent.
Our review of the tour operator Pegas Turistik
2021 began for us in snowy Kazan, but our friends-neighbors happily started in the Maldives in early January. 10-hour flight with 2-year-old child and 14 days on the “paradise beaches” of the Indian Ocean, all-inclusive hotel.
White sand, warm transparent sea, chocolate tan in the "pale-faced" Moscow boy in the middle of winter. Skin dermatitis and allergies remained in the northern city and did not disturb on vacation, despite the exotic fruits and sweets.
What about a tour operator? .. What about a tour operator? Met, picked up, drove, brought. All information was given in full. In my opinion, high-quality service is just like this: the impressions of the rest are in the foreground, the trip is organized smoothly, you are not distracted by nervous showdowns and calls to the Russian offices of the company.
The negative point was the general misfortune of travel trips (and not only Pegasus, it should be noted!) - the hotel guide. The imposition of services can greatly spoil the mood of vacationers. Friends literally broke through to their ordered through the application, and not through a guide, a taxi. But their decisive attitude won, we left the hotel ourselves =)
I take the fact that in the summer the guys again went on vacation through Pegas Touristik, this time to Turkey as an unambiguous "credit" for the tour operator. They did not observe obtrusive guides this time (perhaps because they did not go to the organizing meeting on the day of arrival and did not buy excursions?;))
